Very common: Very common reaction to insect bites especially bedbug bites. Itching as you found out may cause bleeding and subsequent infection. You must get to see your family physician and/or a dermatologist to obtain medication and how to prevent recurrence of the insect invasion. Otherwise you will be one very unhappy person
