Hives?: A rash that comes and goes within a day is most likely to be hives, one of the most miserable and frustrating of benign conditions. By now you have probably thought of every possible food or other trigger but come up with nothing. Sometimes a careful history with your doctor can uncover a known cause. If not then then the long term outlook is good but NO ONE knows HOW long.
