Post nasal drip: Mostly likely this is due to you having post nasal drip which can irritate the throat. If this persists or worsens throughout the day follow up with a doctor for an exam. Also a trial of antihistamines(benadryl, zyrtec, claritin,etc) may help with your post nasal drip.
