No: You would likely not be ovulating for the months that you do not have a period. That is not normal. You can consider taking the pill to regulate your cycle.

Not ovulating: Your ovaries are not releasing an egg every month. You should see your doctor to be evaluated. If everything is normal, no intervention if needed if you are ok with the pattern.
