A member asked:

I'm 22. not preg. is it normal that corpus luteum cyst(not persistent) cause to miss period for two months? can it go away on its own in third month

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Corpus Luteum: If you menstruate every month, you make a corpus luteum every month. It usually goes away every cycle. Not ovulating can make you miss periods, or hormone imbalances can as well. Most women will resume normal cycles after 3 or 4 months. If not, call your doctor for some help.
