Corpus Luteum: If you menstruate every month, you make a corpus luteum every month. It usually goes away every cycle. Not ovulating can make you miss periods, or hormone imbalances can as well. Most women will resume normal cycles after 3 or 4 months. If not, call your doctor for some help.
