Not unusual: sometimes you may get light spotting for a few days before your full period start. Not to worry

Take a home test: If there is a chance you could be pregnant, take a home pregnancy test. Spotting can mean several things, and sometimes nothing. Did your period eventually come? If so, probably nothing to worry about. I do not see your age or if you take birth control, but those factors along with spotting can have other meanings.
