Not usually: Most hospitals with isolation do not have an isolation CT or MRI. They may have a portable X-ray unit. Often times these rooms will be sealed and cleansed after an infected patient is scanned.

Not typically: ID isolation wards do not have their own CT or MRI due to limited resources. However, the following are general strategies- 1) Case needing imaging is done at the end of the day 2) Airflow is changed to minimize spread 3) Medical staff use personal protective gear. After imaging is done, depending on the type of infectious disease, specific disinfection protocols must be followed.

No: No In US and I think in Canada there are no Infectious Disease Wards Infectiioous Diseases Patients who are a threat to others are isolated in an Isolation Room and proper precautions are taken by persons taking care of the patients with gloves,gowns and masks and others as needed If they need CT or MRI or Xrays and other tests precautions are taken to prevent the spread of infectious Diseases
