Yes: From skin rash to systemic side effects to bone marrow suppression. But then no medicine is without side effects. Even Tylenol (acetaminophen) is toxic for liver. We have to weigh the risks and benefits of every medicine

Yes: dizziness ataxia, rash( can be life threatening) sleepiness, depression, blood abnormalities serum blood are frequently monitored but even proper blood levels can be associated with side effects

Yes: of course any drug may have side effects often these are coincedental with other things besides the drug (viral illness) but, lamotrigine has two big groups of side effects strongly associated with it. 1) there's an immune reactivity syndrome that can include rash that gets worse with skin loss.. sometimes fatal. 2) it damps down the brain. Lethargy, depression, slowing, confusion, dizziness, etc.

Lamotrigine: side effects are uncoordination and rash most common and severe. Also, double vision, blurred vision,throat irritation, drowsiness,dizziness, nausea and vomiting.
