BC and compliance: It is important to take the pills daily and as prescribed, as if you do miss several days and have unprotected sex during your ovulation "window" then you may be able to get pregnant. If you are concerned, check a pregnancy test.

Conceivably: the odds are against pregnancy, but the difference between the ideal (under 1 out of a 100 women getting pregnant in a year) to what we really see (about 5-10 of a hundred women) is whether some pills are missed. Having had a period.. the odds are very much against being pregnant. Serum/blood pregnancy tests are quite reliable by 2-3 wk after conception.
