You can exercise: Just be careful as some of the exercises/lifts might be painful, but no fear of damage. However, don't push through the pain. Listen to your epididymis when exercising. If it tells you to back off...back off. Hope this helps. Best of luck. Dr R

Epididymitis: Yes. You should definitely limit any activity that would cause the scrotum to be physically stimulated. Wearing a scrotal support or supportive underwear and taking anti-inflammatory medication such as motrin is helpful as well. Do not resume strenuous activity until you are free of pain for 1 week.
