Larynx: Adams apple is the notch in the thyroid cartilage. The larynx is well below that. No medication (Klonopin) will make the Thyroid cartilage shrink. If you are experiencing voice changes, you need a flexible laryngoscopy by ENT to rule out a primary laryngeal pathology.
