Tired & lightheaded: Beta-blockers don't lower blood sugar. Your symptoms are due to blocking of the effect of adrenaline which makes you feel fatigued, and you are also not able to adjust to sudden change in body position like standing by raising your BP resulting in sensation of lightheadedness. Talk to your doctor about an ACE inhibitor or even diuretic for BP control or lower your dose. Also work on diet control.
