Rinse your eyelids: I would recommend that you clean your lids and lashes carefully. This can be easily accomplished by diluting baby shampoo, 1 teaspoon shampoo to five teaspoons water. Did a q tip in the diluted baby shampoo and gently scrub the lashes and external lid margin. Then rinse with warm water or wipe away with a warm washcloth. You will be just fine.

Rinse with eyewash: Rinse your eyes copiously with a over the counter eye rinse, such as EyeWash™, for several minutes. You may repeat several times. Your eyes may still be blurry from the oil residue but should not be painful. Also, lubricate eyes with an artificial tear like Refresh plus™, frequently to soothe and restore surface moisture. If pain develops, go to a quick care facility where they can check your eyes
