The best you can: Fibromyalgia is one of the conditions that frustrate patients and doctors. There's no clear treatment, much less cure. The best you can do may be to give every reasonable safe idea a try and create a patchwork quilt for you alone. Start by getting all your body systems into optimal shape/condition. Eat and rest well, avoid, reduce and manage stress as well as you can. Be moderate in all you do.

Negate gravity: 30's female w. fibromyalgia has worse shoulder and back pain after walking; likely due to jouncing of weighted arms and head on deconditioned body with weak muscles from disuse and exercise avoidance; because of pain experienced with these activities. Aquatherapy provides water buoyancy relatively negating gravity; enabling musculoskeletal conditioning while pain of joint movements is reduced.
