Usually we wait a: Few days after oral surgery to begin restorative work. There are many times that restorative work is completed in conjunction with surgery. I generally advise patients to delay for a couple weeks just because I want them to be comfortable and " over" their surgery. However, there is no specific rule for delay. Discuss this w your dentist. Good luck!

Don't wait: Call now to make appointment. By the time you get to the Dentist you should be feeling comfortable enough for Dentist to do necessary procedures. The longer you wait, the more difficult and costly the restorations become.
