Hello, i just pushed my foot on a rusty nail, but there is no pull on my leg or even redness. should i fear for tetanus?

Yes, you should: Anyone who has sustained a puncture wound from a rusty nail, especially if it went through the sole of a tennis shoe, is at risk for tetanus. If your last tetanus booster was less than 10 years ago, you should be protected. Often, people with these injuries are given another booster regardless of when their last shot was.

Not really: if the skin was not injured or broken into then you are safe. To be safer , please have a booster tetanus shot.
