Blood work done in the er due to stomach pain everything was normal (wbc 4.8) except total protein was high, 8.3 (range 6.3-8.2) should i be worried?

No: the range is just an average of many individuals protein level You are just slightly high and probably next time it would be in range. Do not worry but you probably do not need extra protein supplementation. Continue to monitor your labs but for now do not worry
