Allergy?: Sounds like an allergic reaction to the scratches. You cannot get ringworm from the scratch itself. Cat scratch fever doesn't develop immediately after the scratch but within a day or two. Symptoms of cat scratch disease include swollen lymph nodes, fever, headache, fatigue, and loss of appetite.

Cat contact/ scratch: Some infections that people can get from cats include: Cat scratch disease, Campylobacter, Ringworm, Roundworm, Hookworm, Tapeworm, Rabies, Fleas (very temporarily), Toxoplasmosis, Giardiasis, Cryptosporidiosis, Salmonellosis & Pasteurella multocida.
