Best person is: your surgeon , who will tell you benefits , relative risks especially with your spinal condition. It is considered a minor surgery with few complications . Talk to you surgeon in your pre OP visit.

Unlikely: Having hemorrhoids removed is usually a well tolerated procedure with few complications. As with any surgical procedure there is a risk of bleeding and infection, but your surgeon will take all precautions to minimized these risks.
