The first goal is: to find out why she is screaming. If she has a fever this is worrisome, if her belly is tender when you gently push on it, this is worrisome too. If irregular bowel habits this can be helped easily. Most babies can have up to 7 or more bowel movements a day or as few as one every couple of days. You can try glycerin suppositories to aid in passing stools but if hard stools see your doc soon.

Constipation: Get a pediatric glycerin suppository. Cut it in thirds and use one third. The dietary changes will take a couple of days to work and it sounds as if she really needs to have a bm.

Crying: I doubt the lack of stooling has anything to do with it as long as she has a nice soft tummy. Sometimes babies just cry, it may be because they have a pain somewhere they can't tell us or they are colicky or whatever. What we need to do is find a way to calm them and us before we go nuts. After you have checked for everything and its fine, put her in her carseat and go for a ride!
