Can chewing too much gum cause vertigo/dizziness?

It is possible: If you chew too frequently, it's possible to develop TMJ(temporomandibular joint) dysfunction syndrome, which can be associated with the sensation of dizziness. If you are worried about this, avoid chewing gum for the next week or two and see if your symptoms resolve. If they don't or in the meanwhile get worse, I would encourage you to see your doctor. Best of luck.
