Hasn't kicked in: Without an actual examination, I cannot give specific medical advice on your particular health, but OCP's change the pattern of hormones. The hormones change the lining of the uterus. This changes the amount of periods. BUT if the lining of the uterus was already there, from before the OCP's were started, the OCP's cannot change that til next cycle.
