Cuts/post care instr: First you should call the people who treated you for specific instructions for aftercare. In the meantime keep it dry, clean, watch for sign of infection such as swelleing, redness, pain or discharge. Dont forget call your care giver

Call the place: where you were seen and get clear instructions. i wld wash with soap and water. apply antibiotic ointment and then keep it covered. two things to check on. first is the distal bone involved. if so need antibiotics. second check your tetanus status. if there is increased redness drainage etc see a doctor immediately.
