How do you check your thyroid and sugar levels ?

Blood test: A venipuncture (needle placed into a vein to withdraw a small amount of blood) is performed, and the blood is sent to a lab. The results are usually available by the next day.

Blood test: You can do a simple blood work in your doctor office to check TSH for your thyroid function and fasting glucose for your sugar level.

Very easily: Hi. Ask your doctor to order fasting glucose, TSH, and free T4. Have the blood drawn after an 8 hour fast (water is OK). See how easy that is? Your doctor will interpret the results for you. Live healthily with healthy diet, regular exercise, and don't smoke. Good luck!
