Alcohol & blood suga: Tiredness resulting from excessive alcohol is due to a number of factors, including dehydration and the sedating affects of the alcohol. Alcohol consumption can wreak havoc with blood sugar, causing it to be too high and/or too low. Either of which can cause a person to feel tired. Individuals with diabetes often feel better if they avoid alcohol intake altogether or in strict moderation.
