Will seroquel (quetiapine) cause man breasts?

4 doctors weighed in across 3 answers

It may: That is a possible side effect. But usually, if it does happen, it is minimal. Proper follow up with your doctor and discussion of any side effects including swollen or tender breasts can help prevent or mitigate this before it becomes noticeable or causes discomfort. There are treatments for it or alternatives to Seroquel (quetiapine). Having said that, Seroquel (quetiapine) is a very effective drug for many conditions.
