Palpitations: It sounds like you may be having palpitations. This is normal for people to get them during times of emotional or physical stress (working out). If they persist or occur with other symptoms like shortness of breath or chest pain or dizziness you should see a Cardiologist for evaluation

Palpitation: As long as there are no other symptoms and it has resolved, this is benign problem. It is simply an early, extra heart beat that leads to additional filling of your heart chamber and a more forceful contraction that you feel as a "thump".
