Depends: It depends on where she is in her dental development. Some children get the bulk of their permanent teeth as early as 10. Most get all their teeth closer to 12. Depending on her problems, the dentist may want to get an early start to help enhance or stimulate growth. This is called intraceptive orthodontics.
