A member asked:

Iam taking euthyroxin 125 now. yesterday i have tested my thyroid and found that tsh is 16. 8 and t3 (liothyronine) is .78. what i should do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Need expert guidance: TSH of 16.8 is way too high. To make sense of the T3 (liothyronine) , a doctor would need to know if it is Free T3 (liothyronine), total T3 (liothyronine). Also need to know the units of measure. check the normal ranges here based on tests and units of measure: http://www.globalrph.com/labs_t.htm. You need to see a good doctor that specializes in thyroid. Chances are you are not getting enough thyroid replacement hormone.
