A member asked:

My periods started when i was 11 and i'm not 17 and they are still not regular ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Be seen...: It can take a couple of years for your periods to become regular; however, you are past the time that we would expect for this to happen. Keep a diary of your period (when it starts and for how long). Sometimes when you do that you actually discover you have a longer or shorter cycle than "normal" but that you are regular and normal for you. See your physician to discuss if indeed irregular.
