Choosing doc: i believe that is an option, if you know your doctor is a Prime doc, or know of a particular doctor you want to consult. But for the most part, you would see whoever is available if you "call in" randomly

You could: Add a physician as your primary or could follow a physician. Also you could direct your questions to a particular physician though other health Tap experts may answer your questions. You can also talk directly to the physician on paid conversation. I do really believe that this question will be best be answered by health Tap suppot staff

Consult Process: Yes, you can choose a doctor that is available on Healthtap Prime when you call. They must be logged on to Healthtap Prime and listed as available for you to be transferred for a live consult. Otherwise, it will be routed to the next MD. Currently, individual specialties cannot be requested, but in the future this might change. The questions are geared towards primary care with referrals as needed

Primary Care on call: HealthTap PRIME launched this month (Aug 2014), and is a Primary Care service. A patient is connected with the first available doctor, and different doctors are online at various times. Patients don't select a particular doctor. A patient using PRIME has a one-on-one visit with the doctor via smartphone, a tablet, or a computer, and he can show the doctor pictures or test results.
