A 21-year-old female asked:

when i get buzzed (not sloppy drunk but "feeling it" the feeling wears off in an hour, does that have anything to do with my super fast metabolism?

It could be: People metabolize alcohol at different rates. Your reaction to alcohol depends on if your stomach is full or empty, how big you are, and what your tolerance is based upon how frequently and how much you drink. Metabolism is definitely a factor. Hope this helps!

No, not super glue..: Scabs are part of the healing process and should be left to fall off on their own.

Probably not: I don't think we would be able to quantify if super olives are any healthier than regular olives. Also i don't think the us fda has classified a super olive.

What vegetables are super foods?

Dr. Ed Friedlander

No such thing: While vegetables, especially when not deep-fried or oversalted, are good food choices, the idea that any of them can cure disease (the usual claim for "superfoods") is at best entertainment and at worst malicious deception. Talk with your physician or an evidence-based deitician about sensible eating.
A 37-year-old member asked:

Are there any natural super-foods or super-herbs?

Dr. Bryan Levey

For what?: There are many nutritious foods. Some of them have been touted lately as being "super foods" for a variety of reasons, and some of those are herbs. The truth is, lots of different foods are very high in nutrients, and thus have been labelled "super." i think most whole, organic fruits and vegetables are likely to fall on someone's "super" list.
