Probably not: Eyes sometimes get infected in association with systemic illness. It is possible that the diarrhea is due to that. There is not enough systemic absorption from a 0.9% saline eyedrop to cause any reaction in the body.

Connor has a high fever, complains about his stomach being sore, and sometimes complains about his eyes being sore too (which could be the fever). No loose stools. Gave him an empaped which has brought his fever down. But why the stomach pain?
