Dysmenorrhea: Hi, If the pain with your period is a new thing for you then you should be evaluated. The most common causes are Endometriosis (finding the inner layer of Uterus outside Uterus like in Ovaries or bladder), Adenomyosis ( he inner layer of Uterus invades the uterus muscles) and also Fibroid. Please see an OB/GYN doctor for further evaluation.
