Ecg: The ECG is diagnostic for cardiac rhythm, it is indicative of other things. After history and physical exam it is one of the first basic tests we use. Other tests are more informative for things other than rhythm.

It can't : It can give us valuable clues but if it did everything there would be no other tests.
