OCT Interpretation: Reading a report is sometimes like interpreting a foreign language for a patient. OCT = Ocular Coherence Tomography; RPE = Retinal Pigment Epithelium; OD = Right; OS = Left; PED = Pigment Epithelial Detachment. This patient could have mild age-related macular degeneration changes or something else. This DOES NOT mean that you will go blind. Discuss with your eye doctor.
