Medical question, please help with protime. is it related to coagulopathy?

Yes: Protime is a measure of the coagulation status of blood. It is abnormal only if blood is less coagulable than normal, but does not give any information about hyper-coagulable blood. The results are usually expressed as a ratio called INR which compares the patient's pt to normal value for that lab.
