Triclosan: Triclosan is an anti-bacterial ingredient found in a variety of soaps. It is generally recognized that there is no increased benefit over plain soap and water for killing bacteria, and it's use is leading to bacterial resistance. There is a concern that Triclosan poses some health risks, and should be avoided.
