A member asked:

My rubella igm elisa value is 0.05 ui/ml, cmv igm elisa value is 0.16 ui/ml, cmv igg value is 6.8 ui/ml, and rubella igg value 39.8 ui/ml. is it safe?

Depends on range: If the IgM values are within the lab's normal range, then this means you have had previous exposure or vaccination. If the IgM is well above the lab's normal range, then possibly you have recently been infected or vaccinated. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests, and make sure to discuss the issue of false positives.
