Conjunctivitis: Conjunctivitis is infectious or non-infectious, and this can usually be determined by examination and the appropriate therapy used that is specific for each. Antibiotic drops are used for bacterial infections, antiviral drops for a viral etiology, and non-infectious causes require specific drop therapy.
