I passed a sac 4 weeks ago and my hcg test came back negative. could i still have had a miscarriage?

Miscarriage: Yes this still could have been a miscarriage. It all depends on when the test was done in relation to when the miscarriage actually occurred versus when the sac was passed. In other words we don't know when your body quit producing hcg.
