May not be from urin: You had your HCG shut that could sometime caused vaginal bleeding and may be the spot you discovers might not be from urine the shut does not effect kidney see your GYN and they can assure or run a urine test with catheter to make sure it is from urine if it is they will run the appropriate testing good luck

Possibly but unsure: As many as 1/3 of all late periods result in a spontaneous/1st trimester abortion that young women are often never even aware of. Most times, it is impossible to verify whether a miscarriage actually took place because we're not looking for that without an announced pregnancy first. What you are describing seems plausible, but I would suggest a GYN exam to make sure there is no other pelvic issue.
