Yellow eyes: If the color in her eyes is new, this can be a sign of high bilirubin (jaundice) which means there is a problem in the liver. Call your pediatrician for her to be seen.

Needs assessment: There are a few causes for yellow sclera ie. whites of the eye appearing yellow. Jaundice or liver dysfunction would be the one concern I would address and suggest seeing your pediatrician. I am assuming this is what you are referring to when you mention both eyes are yellow. Hope this helps...this is not to alarm you, but to guide you appropriately.

Yes, concerned.: Yes, you should be concerned since yellowing of the eyes can be a sign of jaundice. However, there's no need to panic since she's eating, drinking & active, Make an appointment with her pediatrician to check for liver problems, including hepatitis. Sometimes jaundice goes away on its own w/o any explanation. I hope this is the case with your child.
