Yes: But could also be due to scores of other reasons. You do know about all the dangerous and debilitating effects of smoking including oral cancer. Please call your Dentist or your PCP for an examination.

Can be: The effect of smoke and the multiple chemicals in smoke can cause inflammation of the opening of the parotid ducts. It can also cause changes in consistence of saliva. If the saliva becomes thickened it can cause a back up in the gland. Hot compresses and sour foods and drinks can stimulate the flow. If the condition lingers you may want to see a dentist for exam and treatment
