Facial numbness: Some times people mean facial "weakness" when they say numbness. If you are having weakness with facial drooping that is recurring, you may have a facial nerve pathology. You need to have a temporal bone scan such as an MRI to rule out such pathology. Do you have tingling of face? is there a change in your hearing with those episodes? an ENT or a neurologist would be the best specialty to consult.
