Have a second study: I would certainly have a second study done to confirm or exclude the findings.If true, the fetus does not make any urine during pregnancy. Without the urine to provide a cushion surrounding the baby, the muscular walls of the womb compress the baby and prevent lungs from forming.Since lungs and kidneys are not needed until birth,pregnancy continues.The baby will die shortly after delivery.So sorry

See a perinatologist: When a kidney does not develop it is called renal agenesis. Unilateral (one side) and bilateral (both sides) have very different prognoses. A perinatalogist will be able to explain to you exactly what they have found on the scan of your baby and provide you with the further information that you are looking for.
