How would ms show up in an eye exam?

Muscle or nerve: MS can cause sudden decrease in the vision, double vision or eye pain with eye movement. On exam, it may show muscle weakness, decrease pupillary reaction to light, decrease in light and color perception. On dilated exam, the patient may have optic nerve inflammation with swelling(optic Neuritis).

Optic neuritis: MS sometimes first shows up as inflammation in the optic nerve which can be seen on retinal exam.

Some advice: You seem worried about MS, but not clear that this is justified. A common initial problem might be optic neuritis with unilateral loss of vision, associated with dull colors, and pain on motion of eye. Exam might demonstrate changes in the optic disk, and abnormal pupillary rxtns. Abnormal eye movements might also occur, such as double vision or poor eye tracking.
