Please see you OB: Until you are sure you do not have an infection (which it sounds like you may), do not breastfeed from the affected breast, pump and toss instead, as pus can be present and you would not want your baby drinking that. If you have a fever, consider this a medical emergency and go to ER or Urgent care. you need an exam and possibly imaging go the breast, and most likely antibiotics.

Unclear: swollen nipple, pink spots,scabs,swollen axilla can be 1-infection of the skin around the nipple 2-injuries from nursing 3-accessory breast tissue under the arm using a breast shield and moisturizing your skin may help, but if tenderness or redness in the skin develops and or tenderness under the arm or fever, then you need to see your doc and possibly go on antibiotics
