What is naltrexone and how does it help autoimmune issues?

Opioid blocker: Naltrexone blocks the effects of opioids in the body. The mechanism by which it works has not been determined precisely. The brief blockade of opioid receptors between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. that is caused by taking it at bedtime each night is believed to produce an increase of endorphins which then positively affect immune system. Precise mechanism still not determined.
