Yes, possibly: The hymen can vary in virgin women, from one that is totally absent, to one with an opening (which can vary in size), to one that is totally closed (but that blocks your menstrual flow!). Start with the thinnest tampon that you can find, and attempt to insert it when well-lubricated by your menstrual flow. Hope that helps. It depends: Every women's hymen is different. Most don't completely obstruct the vaginal entrance, otherwise you wouldn't be able to pass your menses! So there is space for the insertion of a tampon, for some it may be a little space for others a lot. Remember it's possible to "tear" your hymen without even having sex, as some very physical activities can "tear" the hymen too.
